christmas eve
today is christmas eve and i am so sad to say that my sis, bro and sister-in-law are all not in singapore. so for once i never get to really enjoy christmas celebration with my family. they will only be back on the 26.wanted to go to elithea church his morning but her church is too far away. so in the end, went to christopher church. his parents are nice people and fetch me from tampines interchange. their church is st haildas church located a katong area. it is quite a small church. very old already. with christopher and jeremy, we went into the youth ministry. there is going to be a gift exchange going on and their mother prepared a gift for me to bring there. how sweet. we played some games and sing some songs. was okay. but it feel totally different to be in a big church and a smaller church. the pastal preach about how we should accept everybody no matter how weird they are. everybody wants to be accecpted, so i decide to give everyone a chance and not despise them or leave them out. cause if you want people to accecpt you, you have to first accecpt people. treat peopl the way you want them to treat you.christopher's parents sent me to bedok interchange and during that ride, christopher's brother, john sat on my lap. he is so cute.
after some shopping, went home and decided to give ms ng a surpirise visit. she left the cc already so i went to her house. ask the cc for her house number to check. i called her house phone and she picked up. i said wrong number and hang up. she told me afterwards that she slammed the phone down. haha. waited outside her house for quite a long time. and finally she saw me, no choice i wave and she let me in. she said she know that i was going to come after i sent me two msgs. gave her christmas present. and she was cooking some potato salad. since she is running late, i helped her. drained potato, wash then drain onions, mix everything together with pepper, salt and mayonise. we smashed the potato. the kitchen is in a big big mess and is freaking hot. her mother is very messy. soon, her mother came home. miss ng is running late. she took quite some time to decide what to wear and then change. her mother just keep nagging at her and telling me how parents think and how she was a daughter last time who needs to reach home before 10pm. she says is very good that she allow ms ng to reach home by 12. haha the way she says things just make me laugh. she is hilarious. can't stop laughing. and miss ng keep saying don't say bad things about her infront of her student. but her mother don't care.
there is this bunch of flowers on ms ng table. and her mother said something like(in chinese): don't let sun shine, don't let moon shine, only let lamp shine on it. she is damn funny. can't stop laughing. according to ms ng, she is constantly looking for her stuff: wo de handphone zai na li? ms ng shover came to sent her to her friend's party. i went off the get stuff. my plan failed when miss ng is at home when i pass her the present. after leaving her house, i put my plan back into action. haha glad i did it. can't wait till next year.
is christmas eve, hope everybody is happy.
i think the joy of christmas is in giving.
especially when someone wakes up with a surprise present next to him/her.
the joy and happiness is that person face is worth all the money spent.
it is all about giving.
