dancepointe concert 2006
on 15 was the full dress rehearsalwe reach nus ucc at about 2pm.
qing hui and i with the other jazz dancers are suppose to put up an item. the hip hop dancers from tampines wil put up another item. and another hip hop group from sengkang will be performing too. since out item are the last three item. we waited till 5 plus to start rehearsing. it was so boring!! miss pang and miss ng was there. from their expression(esp miss pang) i can tell they are bored to death. haha. qing hui and i are also very bored. after first rehearsal, there is still another full dress rehearsal. omg! the waiting time is horrible. nothing to do and i can't eat anything cause my stomach felt funny. was feeling very moody.
16-realm concert day
there is a matinee show and a night show. miss pang manage to pull innocent ballet friend to this concet. haha they came for the matinee show. we put on our make up and of course, miss ng failed us and re-do all our make up.our turn to perform is coming soon. i was so nervous and scared. never felt like that before going to perform. usually is just excited and slightly nervous. i think is because i am not confident at all and felt like i am going to screw up the dance. we know we are not coordinated at all. after the matinee show. some of us went down to the cafe on ground floor to have a drink. it was so fun! dawn, daphne, qing hui, michelle , a older lady and me were sitting at a table together. we cracked a lot of jokes. and make fun of miss ng. she can't wait to know why we are laughing at her! at another table, the instructors sat together. miss pang came along and offered to buy ice cream cakes for us. i said we don't need but after she know that i have not ate anything for like the whole day she insist on buying. my stomach still feels funny. miss ng took a video of us and it turns out that we are quite coordinated, not as bad as we thought.thank god. before the night show starts, qing hui and i were selling the programme booklet of the show at $1 each. ah... time to show off my skills. having been through training since sec one soe. sales went okay. but still a lot of booklet not sold as the minimum requirement was 1000! night show went okay and before we know it. it over! great job for all performers. miss ng gave us each a flower, as usual, but still so sweet. went home on the bus, thinking of someone. bath. chat with miss ng online till 2 in the morning. still not sleepy.
