doubts..
i love the weekends.i can sleep longer.
tuesday with morrie is a great book.
you should read it.
the best thing about the story is that it is real. not fiction.
you think you never know about a person with such stong will-power.
morrie is one guy.
a wise guy once said to me:
push through your doubts,
put your faith in your fear,
and it will clear the fog that keeps you ponder.
another wise teacher of mine told me this:
confidence is a decision, not an emotion
we are now at a stage in life whereby we face with many doubts.
doubts about our ability, future and most importantly our purpose in our own life.
all of us struggle to prove our existence.
we ask " does it matter if i am not here?"
or wonder " we anybody miss me if i ever leave?"
or question " what am i doing here on Earth where i am only a tiny ant?"
we are born to live,
live to learn,
learn to teach,
teach to influence,
influence to leave a legacy.
a legacy to make a difference.
i guess we exist for the above.
not everybody is meant to be the rich and famous.
where they possess power.
however, even a cleaner makes a difference.
we tend to take things for granted.
as long as WE CARE,
for others,
for yourself,
you live life meaningfully.
as only then, can you be selfless.
i understand temasek school motto now.
and to think so many find it riduculous.
so much thoughts.
in this struggle
many end up working harder to dismiss doubts.
learnt to embrace it,
and be ready for the next doubt.
to all students taking o levels in temasek:
prove the school wrong.
we care.
