we are young and healthy.in school we learn about lungs cancer, coronary heart disease, all kinds of illnesses.
but we never see ourselves having any kind of disease.
we thought maybe? but a moment later, we just get preoccupied by our lives again.
so i shall spare a post for this.
gary made the fateful decision. he increased the morphine dosage. within seconds, she lies there montionless. he looked away, unable to believe in his own action. his beloved wife. he knows her best. she was unable to read anymore, something she simply love. it is unbearable for people to witness her once magnificent mind deteriorating. it was worst for gary who heard denise sliently pleading the end of her suffering. Her helpless eyes staring right into him, eating him up inside. tears flowed uncontrollably. although denise was showing signs of recovery but deep down gary knew she will never recover. soon, her mentality will resemble a 2 year old kid. she will probably never remember what happened. he does not want his wife to end up this way, it is an insult to her intelligence. he embraced her, hugging her close to his body, he felt relieved. no more.
did gary increase the morphine dosage to end denise's suffering or his?
will you pull the plug of your love one, when you see him lying on the hospital bed.
