family

i heard the above quote from a show and i thought is what i really feel about family. Not too sure if you understand what the other family in the last sentence refers to. is actually your friends. or the closer and best-er friends. It brings hope you me. cause no matter what in life you need your friends to help you get past it. or maybe just to make the process less bitter.
warning: you shouldn't continue if you don't give a damn about me
recently my sis told me about her best friend that she barely talk to on the phone (or keep in contact) but still-- best friend. and i felt really happy about that cause i keep wondering if keeping in touch is like one of the criteria of being a best friend. and now i know is not, i will gladly live in my world of having those best friends. (hint hint to some people out there)
but again the trick lies in does the other party feels the same?
anyway my sis-in-law is really quite different from the people in my family and having her in the family really change the dynamics and my perception of family. she's a well plus addition.(plus the fact that she gave birth to an adorable son!) okay don't want to say too much here but there is something special about her(which i ain't going to reveal)that i really appreciate and should thank her for. my bro's lucky! haha
p.s. rather rare of me to talk about family here. wow i must have open up somehow.
